The composer Halvor Haug died on June 3.

He leaves five symphonies, one of which is titled ‘The Inscrutable Life’.

Born in Trondheim, Haug studied in Oslo and Helsinki before concluding his studies in 1970s London with the undervalued composer Robert Simpson.
