Paris has new principal viola

Aurelia Souvignet-Kowalski has been appointed first alto solo at the Philharmonic Orchestra of Radio France.

She studied at the Suzuki Institute in Lyon before moving to Vienna and becoming joint principal viola of the Wiener Kammerorchester. She was principal viola of the Orchestre national d’Auvergne before becoming a member of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France in 2005.
