Principal cellist changes London orchestra

Richard Harwood was principal of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra until last month.

Today, he joined the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields.

In between he joined the Royal College as professor.

That’s a lot of bow movement.

ASMF say: ‘We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Richard throughout his trial period and very much look forward to continuing this work together in his new role.’
