Putin takes control of major conservatoire

The Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he will personally oversee the reconstruction of the St. Petersburg Conservatoire, which has been going on for 12 years without visible progress.

‘I will come and have a look,’ he warned Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova after she presented a non-progress report. The site has been under wraps since 2013.
