The funeral will take place tomorrow of Marco Bergonzi, son of the great tenor Carlo, who spent his later years at Marco’s hostelry in Bussetto, Verdi’s birthplace. Marco’s hotel is named I due foscari.
Marco conserved Carlo’s memory and celebrated his centenary in July this year.
