Son of maestro, rising

The municipal council of Pforzheim in southwest Germany has appointed Daniel Inbal as its theatre’s next General Music Director.

Inbal, whose father Eliahu enjoyed a far-flung international career, has been Kapellmeister for the past 15 years at Osnabrück Theatre. He was selected by Pforzheim from a list of 79 applicants.
