Sudden death of noted English conductor, 74

The death was made known today of the eminent and highly sought after composer and conductor Ronald Corp, OBE. He was an ordained priest of the Church of England and served at St Augustine, Kilburn.

Corp founded the New London Orchestra and the New London Children’s Choir. He made numerous recordings and was a prolific composer. He was due to perform his own work, Letters from Lony, at this year’s Three Choirs Festival.
