Sudden death of Polish impresario

Sudden death of Polish impresario

Musicians are mourning Andrzej Haluch, one of the most effective artist managers in Poland and eastern Europe. His artists included Daniil Trifonov, Kian Soltani, Mischa Maisky and the Borodin Quartet.

Pianist Lukas Geniušas writes: ‘One of the most important people passed yesterday. He wasn’t just my first guide into the world of the professional classical music industry; he was a true, genuine friend who did things far beyond any possible definition of an ‘artist manager’. Andrzej Haluch – always to be remembered with deepest gratitude, love and warmth.’
