This singer became a conductor… on a train

The Ukraine-born Vera Brezhneva was a star singer on Russian and Ukrainian TV … until she had to choose.

Although living mostly in the safety of Latvia, she returned to Ukraine and has taken a job conducting on the Kyiv regional train service. She’s the new poster person for Ukraine Railways.
