Transfer news: An Irish master singer signs for Nuremberg

The Staatstheater Nürnberg has appointed a young Irishman as its next Generalmusikdirektor, succeeding Roland Böer in 2027.

His name is Killian Farrell and he’s former Deputy Head Chorister of Dublin’s Palestrina Choir.

Farrell, 31, is presently GMD at Staatstheater Meiningen. He is agented by HarrisonParrott.
