Trump to host Kennedy honors: no classical talent

The US president has agreed to host the 2025 Kennedy Center honors.

Usually there is one token classical or opera recipient – Martha Argerich, Renee Fleming or the like.

 

Not this year.

The 2025 nominees, announced today, are:

Gloria Gaynor

George Strait

Sylvester Stallone

Michael Crawford

Rock band KISS

Trump said he had ‘ninety-eight percent involvement’ in the selection.

Way to go.
