Two top violinists drop out

Hilary Hahn is unwell: ‘I’m saddened to report that I’m not yet well enough to travel, so my recital in Chicago is postponed until further notice.’ She is due in Brazil at the end of the month.

Baiba Skrida ‘has to pause her concert activities for the time being and has cancelled the planned concerts with Andris Nelsons and (the Munich Philharmonic) in a couple of weeks’.

We wish them a speedy recovery.
