UK award for Japanese games composer

The video games composer Yoko Shimomura has been awarded a BAFTA Fellowship for her contribution to the games industry.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts is a major player in UK arts and the fellowship is its highest honour.

Yoko Shimomura has composed the Kingdom Hearts series, Final Fantasy XV, Mario & Luigi and much else.
