Ukraine conductor: My baton is my weapon

Keri-Lynn Wilson, who conducts the Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra on Arte tonight, talks to Backstage Classical about her mission:

‘We are fighting for Ukraine on the cultural front. I consider my baton my weapon, and that weapon is used to inspire my beloved musicians, whom I call soldiers of music. This orchestra is a way to express exactly what Putin is trying to kill: Ukrainian culture.
