Welsh conductor is charged with sexual offences

Gareth Ritter, conductor of Ebbw Valley Brass Band and the Lydbrook Band, has been sent to trial in Cardiff charged with sexual assault, two counts of making an indecent image of a child, and one count of distributing an indecent image of a child.

Ritter, 43, is a former assistant head and music teacher at Willows High in Cardiff.

Ebbw Valley brass band says he has resigned.
