Just in: British conductor is stripped of royal honour

From the official public record:

THE KING has directed that the appointment of Jan Bertrand LATHAM-KOENIG to be an Officer of the Civil Division of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, dated 10 October 2020, shall be cancelled and annulled and that his name shall be erased from the Register of the said Order.

The well-connected international conductor was convicted last year of soliciting an underage male person for sex.
