Just in: St Louis sets new high bar for orchestra pay

The St Louis Symphony Orchestra has just inked a four-year contract with its musicians.

It involves an immediate $10,000 increase to salaries, followed by raises of 3%, 3.25%, and 3.5% in subsequent years. By 2030 musician base pay will hit $128,036.
