A Russian embraces Paderewski

A new video from Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall shows a rare performance of an 1893 Polonaise by the future founder of the Polish state, Ignacy Jan Paderewski.

Unexpectedly in these confrontational times, it is played by a Russian pianist, Yulianna Avdeeva, winner of the 2010 Chopin competition.
