Israel orchestras miss season start

The opening of the Haifa Symphony season was cancelled due to uninvited missiles from Hezbollah.

The Israel Camerata Jerusalem is also maimed by the absence of soloist Matt Haimovitz, who was unable to get a flight into the country.

He said: ‘My heart goes out to the people of Israel. One day there will be peace.’
