Silk Roads

Rather than a single trade route between ‘East’ and ‘West’ the Silk Roads were an overlapping network that connected Asia, Africa and Europe.

Today, with the enthusiastic help of curators Sue Brunning, Luk Yu-ping, Elisabeth O’Connell and Zumrad Ilyasova, in this informative video, we can journey along the networks of the Silk Roads, following in the footsteps of the objects and the people who used them between 500-1000 CE.

This exhibition will only be open for another month so, if you can get to the British Museum, do go and see it. This video will show you what you’re missing.
