Dame Kiri crowns new Countess

The Countess in Marriage of Figaro was one of Kiri te Kanawa’s signature roles. Among many other loications, she sang it at Glyndebourne in 1973.

This weekend at Glyndebourne, Kiri was seen in the company of Louise Alder, the present Countess, whose career has been supported by the Kiri te Kanawa Foundation.
