Belgian orchestra and festival in genocide stance

Belgian orchestra and festival in genocide stance

The Brussels Philharmonic and the Klarafestival have posted this notice on their venues and website:

The Klarafestival adds:

With this message on the facades of Flemish cultural houses, we call on the Belgian government to adopt a much more decisive policy against Israel’s flagrant violations of human rights in Gaza and the West Bank. We ask the Belgian government to work towards a ceasefire, sanctions against Israel, the recognition of a Palestinian state and the protection of human rights organizations.
