Breaking: Arts Council England shuts down

Breaking: Arts Council England shuts down

Message received:

Dear (name withheld)

We’re writing to provide you with an update about our online grant management and application portal, Grantium.

We continue to face technical challenges with the system. While we can make payments to grant recipients for all programmes, we have taken the decision to temporarily pause applications for National Lottery Project Grants. We aim to restore the programme as quickly as possible and no later than the middle of September.

We know how important it is for our users to be able to submit applications for funding, and we are truly sorry for the disruption caused by this pause.

Find a complete update about what this means, and a statement from our Chief Executive Darren Henley, on our website.

These people are still drawing salaries.
