Daniel Barenboim suffers a fall

Message from Grafenegg:

Daniel Barenboim has sadly had to cancel his performance in Grafenegg on Sunday, September 7.

He injured his shoulder, among other things, in a serious fall during Wednesday night and is currently unable to perform. We wish Daniel Barenboim a full recovery and a speedy return to the concert stage.

Rudolf Buchbinder will now take over the concert with a modified program: He will now play Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Concertos Nos. 4 and 5 together with the Tonkünstler Orchestra of Lower Austria and will also conduct from the piano.
