Three new recruits in the Boston Symphony

The orchestra, with music director Andris Nelsons, has added Samuel Andonian and Arianna Brusubardis Grace to its violin section. Both are local youngesters.

Caleb Quillen (pictured) of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra succeeds Ed Barker as principal double bass.

And Michael Winter moves up from third horn to associate principal horn.
