Family gives  million for new US concert venue

Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra’s new venue is to be known as the Farmer Music Center after $60 million gift from the Farmer Family Foundation.

Robert McGrath, CSO President, said: ‘This extraordinary gift … represents a transformative investment in Cincinnati’s future, one that will enhance the quality of life in our region for generations to come.’

The Center, due to open on 2027, will have 8,000 reserved seats and a 12,000-capacity lawn.
