The planned renovation of the Stuttgart Opera House could cost between 1.5 and 2 billion euros – this is what research by the SWR has shown. Up until now, the public has always talked about a billion euros. In addition, according to the latest findings, the construction project could only be completed in 2044 – four years later than planned…

The German word for this is Grossenwahn.
