Franz and Alice take the weekend off

The Vienna Philharmonic has replaced an unwell Franz Welser-Möst in four concerts next weekend with Ivan Fischer. The programme is unchanged: Haydn’s 52nd, followed by Das Lied von der Erde.

Minnesota Orchestra, too will have to do without Alice Sara Ott, who has acute tendonitis. She is substututed in the Beethoven G-major concerto by Conrad Tao
