Spoleto founder dies, 96

The pianist Charles Wadsworth,  Spoleto’s founding Artistic Director of Chamber Music, has died in New York. He also created and ran the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, from 1969 to 1989.

Charles is survived by his wife, Susan Wadsworth, the founder of Young Concert Artists, and their descendants.
