Italian pianist dies suddenly at 53

The accomplished concert artist and Conservatorio professor Marcello Mazzoni died without warning yesterday morning at his home in the centre of Reggio Emilia.

In additional to international concerts, Marcello recorded Brahms sonatas with his partner Silvia Mazzon, who survives him with their two children.
