Just in: US quartet breaks up

Just in: US quartet breaks up

The Aizuri Quartet, a major sponsor of new works, has let it be known it’s giving its last concert next month, in New York. The quartet, founder in 2012, consists of violinists Emma Frucht and Miho Saegusa, violist Brian Hong and cellist Caleb van der Swaagh. Saegusa is the only remaining founding member.

No reason has been given for the break-up.
