Teatro San Carlo ‘advises the kind public .. that Jonas Kaufmann is forced to cancel his participation in the role of Cavaradossi in the opera Tosca due to a date change, resulting in an unresolvable calendar incompatibility.’
He will be replaced in September by three other tenors: Francesco Meli, Vittorio Grigolo and Yusif Eyvazov.
Kaufmann cancelled San Carlo twice in 2024.
