Labour cuts arts by 5%

Rachel Reeves has lopped 5 percent off the budget of the Department of Culture Media Sport and Digital, amid persistent reports that the entire DCMS is to be dismantled.

It’s not clear how the cut will be carved up, but arts will bear a share. It’s down to the curretn Secretary, Lisa Nandy.
