Word from the West Coast:
Important Concert Update: Due to illness, both Michael Tilson Thomas and Yuja Wang must cancel their appearances on February 1 with the LA Phil.
OK, that’s unfortunate, these tbhings happen.
So who are the jump-ins?
We are grateful to Susanna Mälkki, Edwin Outwater, and Jon Kimura Parker for agreeing to perform in their places in this celebration of MTT. Poulenc’s Sonata for Four Hands and Tilson Thomas’ You Come Here Often? have been removed from the program. The remaining program is unchanged.
No refunds are being offered.
