Sad death of viola legend, 71

The Italian Viola Association has shared news of the death of Massimo Paris, principal viola of I Musici da Roma from 1977 to 2022 and founder member of the Stradivari Quartet.

Massimo, who was 71, was a focal personality in Italian chamber music. He was also a conductor, teacher and a composer. His Christmas Suite was recorded by Deutsche Grammoophon.
