Strike at Opéra de Paris

Strike at Opéra de Paris

Hey-ho, what else is new?

The premiere of the ballet Paquita was cancelled on December 5 , half an hour after it should have started. Further performances on December 6 and 8 were also blacked out, along with two further shows last night at the Bastille and the Palais Garnier.

Apparently, some of the dancers are complaining of insufficient compensation for their preparatory work.
