Sudden death of UK principal oboe

Royal Liverpool Phil’s Sandra Parr has reported the death of former Merseyside Youth Orchestra star Tim Watts.

Timothy went on to become 2nd oboe of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Principal Oboe of English Touring Opera and Southern Sinfonia. He studied at Cambridge University and the Royal College of Music.
