The Lebrecht Interview returns to BBC Radio 3

The Lebrecht Interview returns to BBC Radio 3

After a nine-year hiatus, I am returning to Radio 3 this Saturday to present the first of a  new series of Lebrecht Interviews with leading figures in the music world.

My first subject is Michael Tilson Thomas, talking frankly about living, dying and all things in between. You will not want to miss Michael’s story of how Aaron Copland tried to stop him and Leonard Bernstein making a spectacle of themselves in a restaurant while trying to agree, with cutlery and glasses, on a tempo for Stravinsky’s Les Noces.

This Saturday at 10pm London time. Right here.
