Trump pushes Congress for $257 million Kennedy Center cash

Trump pushes Congress for 7 million Kennedy Center cash

A House of Representatives committee has approved a $257 million grant proposal to the Kennedy Center, six times its usual grant, the BY Times has reported.

The Republican-dominated committee said a ‘component of the proposal that provides funding for repairs and maintenance needs at the Kennedy Center was requested by the president.’

‘President Trump cares deeply about American arts and culture, which is why he is revitalizing historic institutions like the Kennedy Center to their former greatness,’ said a White House spokeswoman.

King Ludwig of Bavaria has risen again.
