The Vienna Johann Strauss Orchestra mourns the loss of its honorary member Prof. Walther Schulz, the one on the morning of 9.7. has passed away peacefully.
Walther Schulz was one of the most prominent figures of the WJSO, to whom he was a solo cellist since 1996. He directed the orchestra’s mission with thoughtfulness and great sensitivity as managing director from 1999-2006.
