John Williams, in wheelchair, greets the LA Phil

Pictures have reached us from Friday night’s John Williams concert at the Los Angeles Philharmonic in Walt Disney Hall.

The veteran composer, 93, made what was described as a ‘surprise appearance’ after a performance of his cello concerto by Yo Yo Ma, followed by selections from his film music conducted by Gustavo Dudamel.
