Just in: Hilary cancels Prom

The US violinist Hilary Hahn has pulled out of the BBC Proms next week with the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, due to an ongoing injury’.

She was due to play the Dvorak concerto. Isabelle Faust jumps in, here and at the Grafenegg festival.

Every sympathy to Hilary, who has been beset by a  debilitating nerve injury for more than a year.
