Renowned baritone dies, 81

We have been informed of the death of the Italian bass-baritone Angelo Nardinocchi, always in the first cast for Rigoletto and a summer fixture at the Arena di Verona.

He was also knwon for Leporello in Don Giovanni, the Sacristan in Tosca, Alcindoro and Benoit in La boheme.
