An opera on the Eichmann trial

Bucharest National Opera is premiering Gil Shohat’s The Eichmann Trial at the end of the month.

The opera, based in an Israeli stage play by Motti Lerner, aims to ‘keep the memory of the past alive and to inspire future generations in the spirit of empathy, tolerance, and social responsibility.’

The conductor is Daniel Jinga.
